It has been 1 year since the release of Remedy's Control. I may have been late to the party, but man am I ever glad I joined in! Even without having played the now two expansions for this head trip of a game, I can safely say this was the most interesting game I have played this year, and that's saying something.

From the get go I was blown away with the presentation. Everything about it was at once a call back to Alan Wake (love) and the work of David Lynch (big love). With nods to the X-files, Remedy's previous games, avant garde cinema, X-Com Declassified (imo), bureau type cinema, and so much more there was alot for me to love.

The supernatural combat was on point, and even though it did have a few misteps in difficulty spikes, it was a blast to play all the way through.

I could write so much more, but it would just be a jumble that would amount to "I love this head tripfo a game and how it made my head trip!"

So instead, here are some shots I took when I played through the first time! I'll post more when I do the Foundation, AWE, and my inevitable Platinum run ( I loved it that much!)
