FFXV Chapter 13 Patch Incoming! Maybe I Should Finish it Now?

So, not only have I not finished FXV, but I am also smack dab at the end of the game, possibly where this update takes place. I'm not sure, as I haven't played in forever.

I hate that they changed the chapter, to be honest with you, as they appear to have overhauled it. Same thing happened with Mass Effect 3 ('member?) and I did not agree with that either. I am all for adding content, and tweaking things here and there, but to completely overhaul a section of story as fan service does a disservice to video games as an art form. If you felt strongly against George Lucas ret conning the original star wars trilogy to suit his obvious dimentia in his old age, then I can't see you liking game companies changing the stories, endings, or chapters in beloved franchises.

Is it just me? I'm interested in what others think.
